WINTER SOLSTICE ☾

its all just so

beautiful,

the birds

floating in the

sky, the clouds rollling

in, the stripes of dark

and light painted all

around me, this

tilt of the earth,

this moment around,

this cozy slow still moment

in time

how comfy cozy

can we be

while still

stretching

ourselves

and leaning into

the madness

that is life?

beautiful

beautiful

madness

can we stop and 

learn more from

the sky? from

the way the owl

dances across the

field in the wind?

there is wisdom

worth harvesting in

it all, the gentle force

on top of it all,

and the very powerful

fierce tongue

that must be in place

in order to keep on

sowing our seeds,

must we remember to get

out of the way

of ourselves, of our life,

must we remember

to smile

at all that is?

in this winter solstice moment, can you slow down enough to listen? take a bath? have a soak? light a candle and honor the very moment that is?

we meet every wednesday in january, for one hour // we drop into a guided meditation (lead by me!) and open into timed writing segments with prompts, and close with anyone sharing their words + a love circle
